Secure
Gas Delivery to Every Household??!
Drinking Water at Every Tab without Health Hazards??!
There is no place
where these requirements are better met with than in Germany. The
responsibility for it lies with the gas and water supply companies
together with their technical scientific association, the DVGW. The
service provider and the sector’s producers, who align their
performance with the requirements of the practice as well as with the
DVGW technical rules, also contribute to this success.
On the occasion of the DVGW ’s 150th anniversary, the entire German gas and water sector
comes together in Leipzig on the 22nd und 23rd of September, in order
to discuss the currently
most important technical, administrative and organisational issues
of the gas and water sector. On the occasion of this anniversary event
the two central events, the GAT (gas industry convention) and the WAT
(water industry convention) are uniquely joined together. The
conference, where over
5,000 participants are expected, takes place right in the
middle of the exhibition, where about
300 german companies will present their solutions towards an outstanding
water supply and a secure gas supply.
For participants from abroad the DVGW offers special access to the rules and
techniques of the German gas and water trade. For
international participants there will be a special program in English.
This program starts on Monday, 21st of September with an introduction
session. Please see the Conference
Program and Registration Form for details.
